THE MISSION OF THIS 1ST ANNUAL 5K IS TO RECOGNIZE AND HELP REWARD A GROUP OF 16 HULL BOYSCOUTS FROM TROOP 20 WHO HAVE EARNED THE PRIVILEGE TO JOURNEY TO 2013'S BSA'S NATIONAL JAMBOREE IN WEST VA. IT HAS BEEN DECADES SINCE HULL SCOUTS HAVE BEEN ELIGIBLE TO REPRESENT OUR SMALL TOWN IN SUCH A BIG WAY!
Look at the SCOUTStrong Fitness tab to read about Troop 20's personal fitness program and tips on running safety, as well as information on the troop's Journey to BSA's National Jamboree 2013. Troop 20 encourages healthy living, and running is one of the most convenient and heart-healthy exercises if done properly. Nantasket Beach is one of the best places on earth to run! There will be uniformed Boyscouts helping and we happen to have Hull and Quincy Fire Captains on our Race Commitee. Sportstobin will have a table with race clothing to purchase.
