THE MISSION OF THIS 1ST ANNUAL 5K IS TO RECOGNIZE AND HELP REWARD A GROUP OF 16 HULL BOYSCOUTS FROM TROOP 20 WHO HAVE EARNED THE PRIVILEGE TO JOURNEY TO 2013'S BSA'S NATIONAL JAMBOREE IN WEST VA. IT HAS BEEN DECADES SINCE HULL SCOUTS HAVE BEEN ELIGIBLE TO REPRESENT OUR SMALL TOWN IN SUCH A BIG WAY!

Look at the SCOUTStrong Fitness tab to read about Troop 20's personal fitness program and tips on running safety, as well as information on the troop's Journey to BSA's National Jamboree 2013. Troop 20 encourages healthy living, and running is one of the most convenient and heart-healthy exercises if done properly. Nantasket Beach is one of the best places on earth to run! There will be uniformed Boyscouts helping and we happen to have Hull and Quincy Fire Captains on our Race Commitee. Sportstobin will have a table with race clothing to purchase.

Come run this beautiful 1st annual seaside 5k race while supporting the scouting community in Hull! The race takes place at the DCR Nantasket Beach Reservation at the Mary Jeannete Bath House. Click on the the photo to the left, which is Hull's historical Fort Revere Tower, for more information on Hull.
The race will be professionally timed by SPITLER RACESYSTEMS for accurate, efficient, and fast timing results. You will find more course information by clicking on Raceday, where you will be able to view a live, narrated video of the course, courtesy of ViewtheRace.com. There is a Registration Form to print under the Register tab, if you wish tomail a registration form.
There are Sponsor opportunities for businesses, and vendors that would be kind enough to donate items for our raffle, or after race food or product samples. If you cannot run, but would like to make a donation, you can do so on the Donation tab, and there is an on-line volunteer form on this site.
Aquarian Water will provide water stops and reusable water bottles. There will be awards for overall winner, and 2nd and 3rd place. Prizes for top 3 men and top 3 women, and special Hull-themed "awards" for top 3 in each age/gender group. (0-19) (20-29) (30-39) 40-49) (50-59) (60-69) (70-79) (80-99). There will be an award ceremony, as well as prizes and cash raffle drawings after the race. We discourage strollers and headphones so please use caution. Please, no pets or rollerblades. Walkers welcome.
