Running is good for your body and mind! And you will be running for a great cause!
Doesn't matter what time of year, rain or shine, day or night - running can become a part of you (as can any exercise). Even when training alone on cold mornings, and pushing yourself even when you think you just can't go another mile, there is always that feeling after the run that life is good. Everyone runs races for different reasons, but as long as you are moving, and having fun - it's worth it! You will feel especially good running the 5k SCOUTStrong, knowing that you have helped support such a fine group of boys.
